Filtering cards has always been tedious. You want green creatures under a dollar, so you click the color filter, then the type filter, then sort by price, then scroll past everything that’s too expensive. Repeat for every search.
We rebuilt card search to work the way you think. Type what you want, get what you need.
Just Type It
The search box now understands operators. Want budget green creatures?

Looking for ETB triggers to build around?
o:"whenever a creature enters"
Need aggressive beaters for your Commander deck without breaking the bank?
t:creature pow>=4 mv<=3 kw:haste f:commander usd<3
That last one combines five filters in a single query: creature type, power, mana value, keyword ability, format legality, and price ceiling.
What You Can Search
Card characteristics:
- t:creature, t:legendary, t:goblin - types, supertypes, subtypes
- o:"draw a card" - oracle text (use quotes for phrases)
- kw:flying, kw:"first strike" - keyword abilities
- r:mythic, r>=rare - rarity with comparison operators
Stats and costs:
- mv:3, cmc<=2 - mana value
- pow>=4, tou>5 - power and toughness
- pt>=10 - combined power + toughness
- loy>=5 - planeswalker loyalty
Colors:
- c:blue, c:ub, c:simic - guild and shard names work
- c>=ub - at least these colors
- c:m - multicolor cards
Price and format:
- usd>10, usd<=1 - price filters
- f:commander, f:modern - format legality
- banned:legacy - banned cards
Sets and printings:
- s:neo, s:mh2 - set codes
- lang:japanese - language
- cn:42 - collector number
Negate anything with a minus sign: -t:land, -c:red, -kw:flying.

Combining Filters
Filters use AND logic. t:creature t:artifact finds artifact creatures, not all creatures plus all artifacts. Stack as many as you need:
t:creature o:"enters the battlefield" c:blue mv<=2 r>=uncommon
Blue creatures with ETB abilities, low curve, uncommon or better. One search, instant results.
The visual filters aren’t going anywhere - use whatever works for you. But when you know exactly what you’re looking for, just type it.
