Organize Your Collection with Binders

Binders are live.

They’re a simple feature, but they map cleanly to how many of us actually store cards in the real world: color binders, set binders, staples binders, “this is the stuff I trade” binders. Now Icarian can track that same structure.

What are Binders?

Binders let us group cards together so our digital collection mirrors our physical one. Create as many as we want, name them however we want, and use them to answer a basic question we all run into:

“Where is that card, and what bucket did we put it in?”

Trade Binders

The best part is Trade Binders.

Mark any binder as a trade binder and every card in it is automatically treated as available for trade. No more toggling trade status card-by-card. If it’s in the trade binder, it’s for trade.

When someone asks, “What do you have?” we can answer immediately.

Bulk Add by Set

If we’re building a set binder, we shouldn’t have to add hundreds of cards one at a time.

From any set page, we can add all owned cards from that set to a binder in a single action. By default Icarian assigns one instance of each card you own, selecting by best condition and puts it in the binder. E.g. if you own 2 Revised Sol Rings, one NM and on LP, it will put the NM one in your set Binder.

How it works

1. Create a binder from the Collection menu
2. Name it (optionally add a description)
3. Toggle Trade Binder if we want everything inside marked as tradeable
4. Add cards individually, or bulk add from a set page

Binder assignments show up throughout Icarian so we always know how our collection is organized.
