  • Target price alerts - Notify when price goes above/below a specific value
  • Percentage change alerts - Notify when price changes by a percentage
  • In-app notifications - Get notified within Icarian when alerts trigger
  • One-time or recurring - Alerts can trigger once or repeatedly

One-Time vs. Recurring Alerts

One-Time Alerts

  • Trigger once when condition is met
  • Automatically deactivate after triggering
  • Good for: Buying opportunities, one-time price targets

Recurring Alerts

  • Trigger every time condition is met
  • Remain active after triggering
  • Good for: Monitoring investments, tracking volatility

Example: - Recurring alert for “notify when above $50” - Day 1: Price hits $51 → Alert triggers - Day 2: Price drops to $48 → Alert resets - Day 3: Price hits $52 → Alert triggers again

Alert Limits

You can have up to 100 active alerts at a time.

If you hit this limit: - Delete unused alerts - Pause alerts you don’t need right now - Focus on high-priority cards

When Alerts Check

Price alerts check daily at 4:00 AM after price data is imported.

  • Prices update at 3:00 AM
  • Alerts check at 4:00 AM
  • You receive notifications shortly after

Note: Alerts check once per day, so you won’t get real-time notifications.

Alert Accuracy

Alerts use the card’s current price from TCGPlayer or CardKingdom:

  • TCGPlayer market price is preferred
  • Falls back to CardKingdom if TCGPlayer unavailable
  • Prices update daily from official sources

If a card has no price data, alerts won’t trigger.
