Comments and Replies

You can comment on published decks and on commander pages. Comments are public, so keep them friendly and within the Code of Conduct.

Posting a comment

Sign in, scroll to Comments and type in Add a comment. Comments can be up to 2,000 characters. Type [[Card Name]] to link a card. Click Post.

Replies

Click Reply under a comment to answer it. Replies go one level deep: replying to a reply adds yours to the same thread, starting with @username so it’s clear who you’re answering.

Notifications

  • On your deck: you’re notified of each new comment on a deck you own (not your own comments)
  • In a thread: everyone who has commented in a thread is notified when someone replies to it
  • On a commander you follow: see Following

You’re never notified about comments from someone you’ve blocked, or who has blocked you.

Deleting a comment

Open a comment’s ⋯ menu and choose Delete comment. You can delete your own comments, and any comment on a deck you own. Deleting can’t be undone. A comment that has replies shows Comment deleted in its place so the thread still makes sense; one without replies disappears.

Comments can’t be edited after posting.

Turning comments off on your deck

In Tools → Edit deck, turn off Allow comments and save. The deck then shows Comments are turned off for this deck: nobody can post or reply, and the existing comments stay, read-only. You can still delete them. Turn it back on any time.

Reporting and moderation

Use Report comment in a comment’s ⋯ menu if it breaks the Code of Conduct. If a moderator removes it, it shows Removed by a moderator for everyone. See Reporting and Blocking.

Unpublishing a deck hides its comments until it’s published again.
