Likes, Cloning and Export

Three things you can do with someone else’s published deck: like it, clone it to rework as your own, or export its list.

Likes

Click the heart on a published deck to like it; click again to unlike. The number beside the heart is how many people like the deck.

  • You need to be signed in
  • You can’t like your own deck
  • You can’t like the deck of someone you’ve blocked, or who has blocked you
  • The owner gets a New like notification, and the like shows in the community feed

Cloning a deck

Clone deck makes your own copy to rework. On someone else’s deck it’s on the deck’s banner; on your own, it’s in Tools.

The copy includes the commanders, every card (Considering ones too) with its finish, and the gameplans. The description and primer stay behind. The copy is private until you publish it, and the original isn’t changed.

While the original is published, your copy shows Brewed from with the original deck and its owner. The original shows Cloned N times, counting clones by other collectors.

Exporting a deck list

Use Export on a published deck, or the Export section of Tools on your own:

  • Copy (Moxfield format) keeps each card’s set, collector number and foil. It imports into Moxfield and back into Icarian.
  • Copy (plain text) is one quantity name line per card, for Arena, MTGO and Archidekt
  • Download .txt saves the Moxfield format as a file

Commanders come first in both formats. In the Moxfield format, Considering cards go under SIDEBOARD:.

Only the owner can export a private deck.
