Import Your Collection From Anywhere

Switching collection trackers is painful. You’ve spent hours cataloging cards, and now that data is locked into whatever platform you started with. Export a CSV, hope the new app understands the format, cross your fingers that your foils don’t become non-foils.

Five Sources and Counting

Icarian currently supports imports from: Moxfield, Manabox, DragonShield, MythicHub, and Icarian Mobile

Each source has its own export format, column names, and quirks. We handle all of that. Upload your CSV, tell us where it came from, and we match your cards to our database - including set, collector number, condition, and finish.

Add or Sync - Your Choice

Most import tools just dump everything into your collection. Import the same file twice? Now you have duplicates everywhere.

We give you two modes:

Add to Collection does what you’d expect. Every card in your file gets added. Use this when you’re merging in a new acquisition or importing a deck you just bought.

Sync to Collection is smarter. It compares what you’re importing against what you already own, matching on the exact card and finish (foil, non-foil, etched). If you already have three copies of a card and your import file says you have three, nothing happens. If your file says four, you get one more. Cards are never removed.

Sync mode is perfect when you maintain your collection in another app and want Icarian to match it. Import the same file weekly if you want. You’ll only get the cards you’re actually missing.

Import Directly to a Binder

One more thing that saves time: you can assign an import to a specific binder.

Building out a set binder from a Manabox scan? Select the binder before you import and every card lands exactly where it belongs. No second step to move things around afterward.

What Happens Behind the Scenes

Once you upload, we process your file in the background. You’ll see real-time progress e.g. how many rows processed, how many cards added, and any errors if we couldn’t match something.

If cards fail to import (usually because the set code or collector number doesn’t match our data), you can download an error report showing exactly which rows had problems. Fix those in your source app and re-import just the corrections.

The whole process handles files up to 100,000 rows. Whether you’re importing a small deck or your entire collection, it just works.
